
38th Annual National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend
119 Fallen Firefighters to Be Honored at National Memorial on October 6
The 38th National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 6, 2019, to honor 92 firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2018 and 27 firefighters who died in the line of duty in previous years. We will be honoring these Fallen Firefighters by lowering the flags to half staff on Sunday, October 6th from dawn until sunset. 23 New York State Fallen Firefighter Ceremony at Empire State Plaza October 8
The NFFF provides numerous services and programs for firefighters and their families. Donations are always welcome to support these valuable services through their website In addition to the National Program, New York State will be adding 23 names to their Memorial Wall in Albany. The 22nd Annual New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. inside the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany, New York. The ceremony will honor twenty-three firefighters who died in the line of duty.
