
Daylight Saving Ends November 3rd
It’s that time of year again! This we will be turning clocks back one hour on Sunday, November 3rd at 2 am. This is always a good time to do some fire safety chores as well. We invite all do follow the five “C”s when dealing with daylight saving time:
Change your clock- Fall back one hour in the fall. Enjoy the earlier sunrise!
Check your Smoke Detectors and CO detectors to make sure they work and are under 10 years old. Replace if necessary.
Count your smoke detectors to make sure one in every level of home; one in each bedroom; one in bedroom hallways.
Clean your detectors so they are free of spider webs and dust that could hamper their performance.
Change batteries in smoke detectors that are under 10 years old.
