
Fire District Approves $1 Million Ladder Truck Bond
Cronomer Valley Fire District voters approved a $1,001,000 Bond Resolution to Purchase a new Aerial Ladder to replace it’s current Tower Ladder that is 11 years old. The proposition was on the ballot for the 2018 Elections being held on December 11th, 2018 at the Cronomer Valley Fire Station at 296 N Plank Rd., Newburgh, NY. The Fire District will now submit the bond proposal.
Also on the ballot, Kevin Ostrander was re-elected Fire Commissioner to serve a term of 5 years.
Residents of the Cronomer Valley Fire District are urged to register to vote with the Orange County Board of Elections to be entitled to vote at upcoming Fire District Elections. Anyone who desires to be on the ballot for Fire Commissioner must have filed a petition, with at least 25 qualified Electors signatures, with the Fire District Secretary in November each year.
