New Apparatus In Service
Cronomer Valley Fire District has placed their two new apparatus in service this week. The “Wetdown” for Engine 304 and Truck 301 took place September 7th,2019 at the Cronomer Valley Fire Station in the Town of Newburgh. Several Fire Departments took place in the traditional spraying of water to welcome the new apparatus and check out the new equipment. Reverend Jeff Hooker of Grace Methodist Church in Newburgh officiated the blessing of the new vehicles and ask for divine intervention in keeping our firefighters safe during their response and protection of the community. T-Shirts and Mugs were sold as souvenirs of the event. Food and beverage were provided by the Fire Department for attendees and live entertainment featuring Jim Myers on the guitar took place.
