New Year….New Challenges
As we say goodbye to 2020 and welcome in 2021 we need to look at how we will do things different and have better outcomes. The new vaccine should help us get back to normalcy, but things we use to do are now in question. Case in point the fire department had been using a fingerprint reader to take attendance. This is not acceptable now without added disinfecting each time it is used. Many have lost their jobs due to the economy falling apart during isolations. We ask that you keep these people in your thoughts and prayers to help them through these difficult times.
We also ask that you keep your first responders in mind. Take the extra step to assure your own safety and practice fire prevention and good health habits. Drive defensively and prevent accidents caused by careless acts. Every day that goes by without responding to a call will help our responders return to normal life in their own lives. God bless and have a safe New Year from all of us at CVFD!
